No, we don’t have a kids, youth, seniors or patch work ministry (did I type that?). But what we do have are four God given strengths that stand out. They’re not four good ideas… they’re who we are and what we do naturally. I’d like to suggest we focus upon those four strengths rather than being distracted by ‘what would be nice, or what that other church has’ approach. We’re not a carbon copy of another church. We’re Warner Church. This is whom God has made us, and it’s unique and it’s great!
What we envisage…
“Imagine having a vibrant network of passionate people meeting in small groups in schools, cafe’s (two out of two thus far), your workplace, Uni’s and colleges, playing music at the local pub, in your street, in that regional town that came up as a prayerful burden to serve, people meeting in that prison, in that marketplace being Jesus to those who don’t know him… imagine our Church multiplying – PLANTING Churches within Brisbane, our region and beyond! Imagine driving to that town to lead worship, to teach and reach out to people in need. Imagine building a website that stores resources for small groups to utilise. Imagine filming messages weekly, and scores of groups hear the same message throughout our city online, equipping people to serve and plant kingdom work in our region and beyond. Just imagine… seeing people who never before set foot in a church, loved, encouraged & empowered in Christ’s name to serve God through compassion, building relationships & following God’s leading.”
