
- The Divine inspiration and authority of the Bible in matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- Christ is the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:15-20). The existence of the Trinity, One God in Three Persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 1:17 & 2 Corinthians 13:14)
- The Deity and Incarnation and the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity (Luke 1:26-35)
- The fallen, sinful nature of all people and the need for salvation in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23, 6:23)
- The necessity for repentance towards God and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation from sin (Acts 2:36-38, Acts 20:21 & Romans 10:9)
- The salvation of people from the penalty and power of sin, through the perfect obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ, His atoning death, His resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His unchanging Priesthood.(John 3:16-20 & Hebrews 7:23-28)
- The immediate work of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of people, in their sanctification and in their preservation to the Heavenly Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, and their equipping for ministry through Spiritual gifts as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11.(Romans 15:16, 1 Corinthians 1:2 & 1 Peter 1:2)
- The resurrection of the dead and the final judgment of all people by the Lord Jesus Christ (John 5:21-24, 27 & 11:25, Hebrews 9:27-28)
- The two ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ, namely, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 2:38-39, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
- The Church community being a vibrant and diverse family that encourages and builds one another up, the pastor (s) and the eldership team. The Church family exercises grace and forgiveness with one another in Christian love on differences, grievances and issues of theological understanding. (Matthew 12:46-50 & Ephesians 4:1-7)
- The Church is evangelistic in nature, fulfilling the first commandment of worshipping God (Matthew 22:37-40) and the great commission in sharing the gospel with people to make disciples. The church goes out into the world rather than expecting the world to come into the church. (Matthew 28:18-20)
- The Church is a multiplying organism. We support the equipping and sending out of those called to serve the extension of God’s Kingdom both locally and abroad, either individually or in teams, or in new church planting initiatives. (Acts 8:1b, 4, 11:20, 13:1-3)
