About our Sunday Gatherings
There are two ‘halves’ to our Sunday gatherings. The first half is dedicated to praise and worship, leading into time centering on the communion (the ordinace of the Lord’s Supper). Time is then taken for prayer. We then take a ten minute intermission to enjoy conversation and afternoon tea, before we settle back into the Sanctuary for a time of teaching.
Everything we do on a Sunday is to celebrate who God is and whom we are as God’s children (1 John 3:1). In conjunction with this emphasis, we focus on developing our four strengths which are -
- Network of small groups. Acts 11:19-27
- Worship. Acts 13:1-3, Psalm 40:1-5
- Missions. Acts 1:8, Mark 1:12, 29-45
- Hospitality. Acts 2:42-47
Everything we do on Sunday during our gathering reflects these four emphasis.
